Will the OBD tracker work in my vehicle?
Most cars from around 2005 onward have an OBD-II port under the dashboard. We can confirm compatibility before you order.
Do I need an installer?
For standard OBD-compatible vehicles, no. Plug the tracker into the OBD port, pair it with the app and start tracking.
Does pricing include SIM and data?
Yes. The service includes the SIM and mobile data used by the tracker, so you do not need to buy a separate SIM.
Can Maisha Track handle fleets?
Yes. You can manage multiple vehicles, review trips, track fuel, record maintenance and give team members access.
Is fuel tracking automatic?
For OBD trackers, fuel tracking is managed manually by adding fill-up records such as litres, cost and odometer readings. For the fleet fuel monitoring solution, fuel levels are recorded automatically from the vehicle fuel tank.

Maisha Track is built for East and Southern Africa, with current focus on Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and South Africa.
What countries can Maisha Track roam in?
Maisha Track partners with multiple network operators in each country and has "always online" connectivity in all African countries.
I already have a tracking provider. Can I move the service?
Yes. Maisha Track supports most GPS tracking hardware manufacturers. In many cases, we only replace the SIM card, configure your existing tracker on our platform, and activate service in about five minutes.
