Will Maisha Track work in my car?
Most cars sold from 2005 onward have a standard OBD-II port under the steering wheel. Maisha Track plugs into that port — if your car has one, it will work. We can confirm compatibility for your specific make and model before you order.
Do I need to install anything?
No tools, no wiring, no installer. Plug the device into your OBD-II port, pair it with the Maisha Track app, and you're tracking. Most people are set up in under five minutes.
Which countries does Maisha Track cover?
Maisha Track is available in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and South Africa. Pricing is shown in your local currency (KES, TZS, UGX, ZAR) and we ship and support locally in each country.
Do I need a SIM card or mobile data?
No — the SIM card and mobile data the tracker uses to send your car's location are included in the price. There's nothing extra to buy or top up.
Can I track more than one car?
Yes. One Maisha Track app can manage multiple vehicles, so the whole household can use the same login. Each car needs its own device — at the same per-device price as a single tracker.
